AccountAbility’s AA1000 Series of Standards is a set of principles-based frameworks used by global businesses, private enterprises, governments, and other organizations to demonstrate leadership and performance in accountability, responsibility, and sustainability.AccountAbility is recognized as a Framework Developer in the World Economic Forum's ESG Ecosystem Map, acknowledging the impact of the AA1000 Series of Standards in advancing large-scale, integrated, and focused ESG change.
The AA1000 Series of Standards includes simple, practical, and easy-to-use frameworks. They include:
- AA1000 AccountAbility Principles (AA1000AP, 2018)
- AA1000 Stakeholder Engagement Standard (AA1000SES, 2015)
- AA1000 Assurance Standard (AA1000AS v3)
In addition, AccountAbility releases strategy documents to accompany the AA1000 Series of Standards to support providers, reporting companies and other stakeholders interpret and use sustainability data. This includes the release of the AA1000 Guidance on Assuring GHG Emissions with AA1000AS v3.
