AccountAbility Invites Collaboration to Translate the AA1000AP (2018) Regionally
AccountAbility is seeking potential partners to contribute expertise and sponsor development of local language versions of the latest AA1000 Accountability Principles (AA1000AP, 2018)– its latest sustainability management framework and guidance document. The AA1000AP (2018) serves as the foundation of the AA1000 Series of Standards, and offers an informed update to the firm’s internationally accepted, principles-based approach to sustainability management for the 21st century.
For over two decades, organisations of all sizes, and across sectors, have successfully applied AccountAbility’s guidance to identify, prioritise and respond to sustainability challenges to improve their overall, long-term performance. As part of an effort to proliferate the AA1000 series, AccountAbility is inviting organisations with expertise in the area of sustainability, regionally, to play an active part in supporting the development of the local language version of the AA1000AP (2018). Sponsorship of the project entitles the collaborating partner a number of benefits, which are outlined in the invitation (Click to access).
AccountAbility CEO, Mr. Sunny Misser expressed that “Local language versions of the AccountAbility Principles play a crucial role in extending the accessibility of AccountAbility’s latest guidance on sustainability management in different regions. We hope that through collaborations with local partners, we will be able to share the latest sustainability guidance with organisations regionally, enabling them to apply leading practices to their management approach.”
